Our Gregoire Besson is an 8 furrow semi-mounted plough which can be operated with or without a furrow press for burying large amounts of trash or manures where cultivating would not bury the material effectively. Usually pulled by one of our XERION's or an Axion 840 tractor, this combination is capable of covering 60-70 acres a day.

"We only have 21 acres of grassland but we cannot graze about 11 acres during the winter if it turns wet because this area is ironstone with patches of clay. When Chris Baker suggested that we could try their Sumo Grassland subsoiler, we were rather sceptical but decided to give it a try. In the middle of winter, when the rest of the paddocks were waterlogged, the subsoiled paddock was just spongy with no wet areas at all. This summer the grass growth has improved and been more consistent. We were very surprised how effective it was and have booked Chris and the team to do a lot more acres this autumn."
