Gregoire Besson Discordon
Our Gregoire Besson Discordon is used as primary cultivation behind the combine to aid germination of grass, weeds etc. followed by a spray of roundup and then a second pass with the Discordon using the tines as well as the disc which will leave a seedbed.
Comprising of two sets of discs with a row of ripper-tines and a roller, the discs at the front of the machine chop and mix soil and stubble and the following tines lift and aerate the soil. The back row of discs turns and levels the soil and the roller consolidates the soil surface to limit evaporation. This means that with the Discordon we are capable of completing four cultivation tasks in just one pass.
Our Discordon is very well maintained and used with a fully automated lubrication system to reduce wear and tear and minimize down time.
